Do you ever wonder why calling something by its name is so important? I do not pose this question to debate it. It's just something for you to think about. The music video I chose to go with today's Spiritual Progression Path is 'Name' by the Goo Goo Dolls. Lead singer John Rzeznik wrote this song about his childhood. He was raised by his sisters because their parents died when they were young. The line, "We're grown up orphans who never knew their names" is a reflection of his history, his past, his family. Names are important because they tell us who we are, who we are related to and where we came from. Perhaps the prayer will give you some spiritual insight on where you came from as well.

I give my name a Good name.

go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further
and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.

Father, today's reading has something in it that really stands out for me that I had not seen before. I have seen, read and heard this particular scripture many many times before but today the one word that never stood out as much as it does today is the word "name" in verse 18. This is very eye opening because it is essentially saying the meaning of the name of Your Son, means just that, the 'name' of Your Son, which is as precious to You as the name of our child's name is to us, or someone else that we Love. Thank You Father for this wonderful enLightenment this morning. This is about believing in 'The Name' and what 'The Name' represents, which is YOU! Jesus represents You! Thank You so much! I Love You!

John 3:14-21

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up,
15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life."
16 For God so Loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal Life.
17 For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; He who does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
