Developed by a chiropractor, Applied Kinesiology is the fastest growing treatment modality in the world, utilized by chiropractors, medical doctors, osteopaths, dentists and many other healthcare professionals. The Kinesiologist deals with the interrelated whole body and personality, and utilizes the chemical, mental and structural parts of the body which in turn affect the body, mind, and spirit.

"The body never lies, only the mouth."

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a method of testing muscles to find imbalances in the body. AK is based on the premise that muscles, glands, and organs are linked by meridians. Using a manual muscle test, the weak muscles are identified.
The cause of weak muscles result from internal causes: Reduced blood supply; Impairment of lymphatic drainage; Chemical imbalance; organ or gland dysfunction; or abnormal pressure in the cerebrospinal fluid affecting the nerve-to-muscle relationship.
Re-instilling balance is achieved by using massage of the lymphatic areas; holding of neurovascular points; acupuncture at the meridians; holding acupuncture points; tailoring the nutritional support and addressing any underlying emotional issues. The kinesiologist retests the muscles after treatment to confirm the restoration of energy flow of the meridians.
