CORNSILK (Stigmata maidis)

DESCRIPTION: Cornsilk is rich in Vitamin K and also contains Vitamin B, PABA and the mineral silicon.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Cornsilk has been used for bladder dysfunction, as a diuretic and for cystitis. It has a cleansing and purging effect on the circulating urea and is popular as a treatment for renal and cystic inflammation. Cornsilk cleans the cystic membrane and has antiseptic properties.
