The Moon in Taurus is moving through your 1st house of identity and how other's see you. This house also rules the personality, your attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It includes the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life and your aura. Take special note that this first house rules your soul's purpose and your inner motivation.
We wake up this morning (here in the U.S.) to the Taurus Moon being in the Void at 27 degrees. Not only is the energy slow, but now it is a bit off schedule and maybe even somewhat chaotic or disturbed. If you are a fast moving target like me, this Taurus Moon can really tick you off. If you know this ahead of time then you will not allow the energy to disturb you. Slow down your energy 'on purpose' in order to sync your surroundings. It is really that easy to sync with a Void Moon so you don't lose your mind. Either you are in control of you or not. The Moon will finally reach Gemini at 00 degrees at 2:15 PM EST and will not leave its Void status until 8:16 PM EST when Gemini finally reaches 03 degrees. Now remember folks, as I wrote on the main page of the Void of Course Moon page when the Moon (or a planet) is in the Void between 27 degrees of one sign and 3 degrees into the next sign, the energy is same as when you pick up and move from one house (residence) to the other. It's unsettled and chaotic. Read about this energy so you remember how to stay in touch with it when it occurs or if you happen to have a planet at 27, 28, 29, 00, 01, 02 in your Natal Chart. Once you are in tune with a Void of Course planet, you will become unaffected by the energy because you have synced yourself with it through your intuition. This Gemini Moon naturally rules the 3rd house of communication, sales, writing, talking, transportation and traveling within your own locale or country. In other words, Gemini gets around and they are indeed the traveling sales person. Gemini knows in order to make the sell, they must get into a person's mind. So often times the Gemini sales person will nod their head yes, which causes the buyer to nod their head yes and BOOM, the sale is made. It is jazzy little tactic and it works. If you are selling yourself to an employer or selling a lawnmower on Craigslist, use this Gemini Moon to make the positive vibes fly through the ethers and make that person nod their head YES! Gemini is mental and absolutely requires mental stimulation because Gemini rules the mind. Contrary to popular belief, Gemini is more of a thinker than a talker. Your value system needs to be checked so that you can see how you are spending your money. Taurus should ALWAYS have money. Money is part of the fabric that makes up a Taurus. It's just the way it is and Taurus naturally rules this 2nd house of money. Words like 'my' and 'mine' are Taurus words. You are a young soul and it reflects in your speech (my, mine). Still, you need to create more money in the bank and spend a little more wisely. Whatever you do, don't think cheap because that is NOT your style. As many of you know, the North Node is in Sagittarius and the South Node is in Gemini. It's important to remember the North Node is where your "Cup Runneth Over" and the South Node is "the drain" . . or "hole in your chart" . . or more popularly known as the "Bottomless Pit". When you were born the North and South Node were in a certain sign. The North and South Node are ALWAYS opposite. The North Node is the future and where you need to be (Dharma) and the South Node is where you were and what you need to make right (karma). The North Node is the dragon's head and the South Node is the tail. The North Node expresses what is your soul's destiny or dharma as opposed to the South Node of your karma (past). Dharma means cosmic order or law that includes the natural and moral principles that apply to all beings and things. The South Node is what you have done and the North Node is what you need to do. So let's translate that into where the North and South Node are today and where they were when you were born.
The North Node is in Sagittarius and the South Node is in Gemini from March 3, 2011 until August 29, 2012. So for anyone born during that period of time, they will have their 'natal' North Node in Sagittarius and their 'natal' South Node in Gemini. For the rest of us, what is going on during this period of time (March 3, 2011 until August 29, 2012) it is called a 'transit' which means a planet, asteroid or Node that is moving sometime after our birth. The transit (movement) is only significant when it aspects (make an angle with) one of our planetary natal birth positions. An aspect is a trine, sextile, square, semisquare, opposition, quincunx, conjunction, etc.
Since there is the possibility of the North Node in Sagittarius and South Node in Gemini aspecting (making an angle) to one of your natal (birth chart) planetary positions, this is why you need to pay attention to this. Even if the Nodes do not actually create an angle to one or more of your natal planets, the North Node in Sagittarius is still moving over (transiting) the house that is ruled by Sagittarius in your Natal Chart and the South Node is still moving over (transiting) the house that is ruled by Gemini in your Natal Chart. Think of these Nodes flying over your house like an airplane. Now remember, the North Node means 'My Cup Runneth Over' and this means if focus on this you cannot fail. The South Node means 'the drain' or 'hole' or 'bottomless pit'. So while you may be challenged to fix or right where the drain is, the focus should still be on that North Node. Since I am a Gemini and the South Node is currently moving through my sign, then I am set on making right the area of my chart ruled by Gemini and I do it BY FOCUSING on the house in my chart that is ruled by Sagittarius. There is no doubt about it, this South Node in Gemini and North Node in Sagittarius can really take a draining toll on both Gemini's and Sagittarian's. There will be some Sagittarian's who will just not get their act together and they will be called to task and have to answer for it. The same with Gemini's. I would not choose the path of being frightened over this but as a Gemini, I do choose the path of 'getting and keeping' my act together. No overly risky behavior and stay focused on that North Node in the house that it represents for me.
The North and South Node in your Natal Chart is the area you want to get to know intimately. Most of you know that I am a Gemini with a North Node Virgo. So as a Life path, I shine as a communicator because my Sun is in Gemini and I gear it toward my North Node (health, hygiene, fitness, daily regimen, nutrition, etc.) That is how you play the Nodal cards in your deck (chart). You should always strive to be 'like' the sign of your North Node. As far as your South Node goes, you should only be using the information and knowledge that have in that experience from a previous Lifetime. Your South Node reveals your past Lifetimes and that is what you come into this world with as your baggage. Not baggage in a negative sense but baggage in an experience sense. It's only baggage if you choose to repeat all of that when you don't have to. You merely use the knowledge to facilitate the North Node. It's like you go in for a job interview and they want to know your experience. Well folks, that is your South Node. We know that all signs have an equal and opposite sign that is similar but different. Well for me my South Node is Pisces, which is the opposite of my South Node. That is my experience and the prerequiste to this Lifetime. Just like in high school you have to have certain classes you have to take before you can take other classes. Well folks, you had to have the experience of that South Node in order to be able to get the job of your North Node. Just like in real Life applying for a job or taking that higher level class. IT'S A SET-UP! It can really be that easy folks. Even before I went to college, I worked in several health clubs as an aerobics instructor, trainer and sold gym memberships. Remember from yesterday's writings that Gemini is the sales sign of the zodiac. I see now that those type of jobs were merely a precursor to what I was going to be doing today. It was all a set-up. Do your best to make positive connections with family members today. Instead of dwelling on what you do not like, how about spending more time dwelling on what you do like. You may have a hard time listening today and this could cause someone to call you on your stuff. In turn, this could hurt your feelings. The cliche' of the hard-headed Taurus is revealing itself today. Try not to take things too personal because if you listen the first time there won't be a problem. Now remember folks from my past couple of weeks of writing, we have every single Sun Sign in our Natal Chart, so think about your own Natal Chart and where Cancer is in your chart while you read this. Now for a little Cancer Moon lesson. Every single one of the Sun Signs (aka Zodiac Signs) have a natural ruling planet. Cancer's natural ruling planet is the Moon so it is in its natural state. When a planet is in its natural ruling placement, then it intensifies and brings more depth to that placement. The Moon rules the emotions; therefore, the depth of emotions right now is going dee-eeeeep! Cancer naturally rules the 4th house of home, family, domestic affairs and the biological and psychological environment. Individuals are more likely to get emotionally twisted over home and family issues during this Moon than any other Moon placement. Typically the mind will take individuals back to childhood and you may hear yourself or others say, "When I was growing up . . . " or "I was always told . . . " The only thing about this type of thinking is if you are an adult, it has been a long long long time since you were a child and now you get to say who, what, when, where, why and how much. Now you get to evolve and change the house rules into something that works for you and your family. If you are still operating your Life with the childhood thinking of an 8, 12 or 16 year old, then you may now be able to see how that does not work for you as a 26, 36, 46, 56 or 66 year old or however old you are for that matter. The 4th house is start of the 2nd Quadrant in our charts and how we are now opening up our lives to engage our lives with other people. We say who, what, when, where, why and how much. If I wrote your Expansive Natal Chart and you have one of the 4 Quadrants strong, then I wrote about it in your chart. Take another look at it.
Let's also think about the physical actions of the Cancer Moon. Cancer the crab enjoys staying in their dark and tight shell, which is why many Cancer's prefer to be at home than anywhere else. They will typically have the blinds drawn or shades pulled down. Even the paint or decor colors may be somewhat dark. It's comfey and warm with those dark colors. Stark white may make a Cancer uncomfortable and cold because that is like their counterpart (opposite sign) Capricorn, which is icy cold natured. The Cancer movements are just like the crab where it comes out of its shell with a dancelike movement, taking two steps to the right, three steps to the left and then goes back into their shell, backward. This little sidestep movemewnt is what usually makes them go into their house through the back door or the side door. Rarely will a Cancer enter their home straight on, which is exactly why a Cancer will sidestep an issue or dance it around it with small talk before addressing it head on. Cancer also likes to dig with those claws and they will pinch as well to root around. Their naturally tendency is to dig.
Cancer rules the home and family so having a home (a house) and domestic security is of vital importance to them. Because they are so in-tune with their home and family with deep emotional feelings, this builds and strengthens their intuition. I believe all Sun Signs are intuitive and we all have the gift, whether we use it or not is another thing. Water signs (Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio) are mostly emotional intuitives where they 'feel' their intuition. The Cancer motto, "I feel therefore I am." This feeling not only reveals itself in emotional feelings but in 'knowingness' feelings as well. It is the feeling of knowing without having the emotion. So feeling shows up two ways and this card must be played in your hand. Which house does it show up for you in your chart? These feelings can also be revealed in physical objects when the individual picks them up and gets a feeling. This is something to be practiced. Cancer rules nostaglia, antiques, heirlooms, pictures and memorabilia. There is an attachment to these things through how they make the individual 'feel'.
It is important be in touch with and recognize how you feel. When you communicate and you 'feel' then the words should come as, "I feel . . . " rather than an accusation or statement that does not accurately describe the feeling. There is an extreme emotional sensitivity to wherever Cancer shows up in your Natal Chart and this emotional sensitivity can cause one to brood and pout over the slightest of things. Then here come the tears (water indicator).
As a side note -- I will be updating your Weekly, Monthly and Generational Horoscopes. You may have noticed from the blue box below that Neptune has moved out of Aquarius and into its natural home placement of Pisces. Neptune rules Pisces. This is AWESOME! And this placement lasts until 2026. Also, you may have noticed from the blue box below that Saturn is at a slow crawl. In fact, yesterday Saturn was in Libra at 29 degrees 29 minute and today it is still at 29 degrees 29 minutes. That alone should have caused a question mark to form in your head. When a planet starts slowing down like that just before it turns Retrograde, it is called 'in its storm'. After a planet goes direct when it is still in its slow crawl, it is called 'in its shadow'. Saturn in Libra will turn Retrograde on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Now you should have already known this from the 2012

The Moon in Leo is squaring (challenging) your 4th house of home, family, the mother, older women. It describes your roots, your heritage and your private life. This house also rules land, property, residences, domestic affairs, psychological foundations, biological inheritance and place of abode.
It's best to say what you mean (with Love) rather than be mean in what you say. Check the tone in your voice especially when talking to Loved ones. If you Love someone there is no reason why you should want to say anything that might injure their spirit. Treat those you Love with respect. It will be easy to roar and growl at those in the home but you can easily use the sunny and generous side of this Leo Moon to show Love and respect to those closest to you.
Head's up for the Full Moon in Leo tomorrow, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at precisely 4:53 PM EST at 18 degrees 31 minutes. The Moon will be in Leo, while the Sun will be in Aquarius. A Full Moon occurs when the Moon and the Sun are on opposite sides of the Earth; therefore, they would have to be in opposing signs and that would make them 180 degrees from one another. Most typically a Lunar Eclipse happens during a Full Moon but not this month because a Lunar Eclipse can occur only when the Full Moon occurs near the two Nodes of the orbit, either the ascending or descending Node. Well, the Moon is in Leo, the Sun is in Aquarius and the North Node is Sagittarius and South Node is in Gemini, so you can see this month, the Moon is not anywhere near one of the Nodes because they are in a completely different sign.
It is important to remember that we feel the effects of a Full Moon about 5 days before and 5 days after a Full Moon. Actually, if you have been coming to this website long enough, I like to say 7 days before and 7 days after a Full Moon just give a couple of extra days to account for your intuition. So no matter what I write about Full Moon's during any given month, remember there is a 7 day before and afterglow of the Full Moon where you will feel it.
Let's think about this Full Moon for a minute because it is lit up and shining bright. So since this Moon is in Leo, this shines a lot of Light on the house that Leo naturally rules, which is the 5th house of children, Love, intimacy, joy, bliss, fun, pleasure activities, dating, romance and the playground of Life. While this Leo Moon shines a bright light on Taurus' 4th house of home, family, domestic issues and the biological and psychological foundation, you should also look to your personal Natal Chart and the house that Leo rules to where this Light is shining on you. Since the Moon is the emotional planet, then this Moon has theme of emotional Moon is all about romance, fun and child-like behavior. Since Pisces is indicative of intuition, fear, doubt and escape (pretty much in that order) I want to share with you something I saw while channel surfing. I had locked on to a story about a missing young woman about 21 years old. I do contemplate from time to time what the heck is up with all of these missing women, who are mainly young women. Are they not thinking, or using their common sense, or are they busying themselves while walking, texting or talking on the phone or are they just simply and plainly not listening to their intuition? What the hell is up with these missing women?
When I stopped on the channel, it was at the point where they showed on video surveillance a man hanging out in a convenience store for about an hour passing time talking to the clerk. Then a young woman walks in and this man quickly and obviously notices her. Now keep in mind at this point the police already know that this man is their suspect as they are watching the tape because another later revealing tape shows the same guy getting out of her car and to make a long story short this girl is burned to death in her car.
Pisces is a very spiritual sign, this means 'spirit' as in being in tune and in touch with that which cannot be seen. Everyone has this Pisces energy within their own personal chart, even this young woman in the video had Pisces in her own personal chart. So in the video, this man wanted a ride from her and you could hear her and see her turning him down. She looked uncomfortable and she even looked behind her as the man boldly followed her out the door. As the video was rolling the police officers were watching it saying, "Don't talk to him, don't go with him." I find myself saying, "Don't talk to him, don't go with him." Her body language, her words, her own intuition told her not to do it and she did it anyway. At that moment I imagined our angels and spirit guides doing the same thing with us, aligning with our own intuition and guiding us. I imagined that just like the police officers were doing while watching the video days later, her angels and guides at the exact moment it was happening were probably whispering to her, "Don't talk to him, don't go with him." But she did. Even more, the clerk in the store later told the police how suspicious he was of the guy. Here is another person in the story who did not act on his intuition and look what happened. He saw the guy follow her and did not act. Folks, I'm just sayin', no matter what it is in Life, follow your intuition.
